Processing times

What is meant by Processing times?

Processing times refer to the amount of time spent by team members or employees on specific tasks or activities within a project.

To ensure accurate project time tracking, employees should record their processing times in as much detail as possible. This may include identifying specific tasks, project phases or milestones. Time spent on meetings, team collaboration and communication should also be recorded. This includes both formal meetings and informal discussions that contribute directly to the project.

If employees are required to travel as part of the project, the time spent traveling and related activities should be included in the project time tracking. The time spent on overcoming problems, solving challenges or dealing with unforeseen obstacles should also be taken into account.
