We are a craft business in the field of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning technology and are looking for a simple document management system that can work with our existing craftsman software. It will be used almost exclusively by employees with little IT expertise. Priorities are:

  • easy recording and
  • easy, quick retrieval of documents
  • all documents should only be stored once to avoid different versions.

We have been using the existing tradesman software for over 30 years, increasingly to digitally map commercial and operational processes and as a basis for controlling. What is missing is a simple document management system that enables paperless working. The filing and search options in the existing tradesman solution are limited and therefore unfortunately not sufficient for paperless working.

The software solution should also meet the following requirements:

  • GDPR compliant
  • Audit-proof
  • Quick and easy to use
  • Meta search or comparable
  • Conflict-free addition to the existing tradesman software

Four to five software workstations are required in the office. The fitters may also require mobile access.

The software should have the following functions.
