Parts of a DMS (documentation and revision management system) wanted

We are a growing craft business and are looking for software that can take over parts of our digital document management.

This specifically concerns order-related documentation (audit documents), which are compiled from a data pool of documents according to customer or construction projects or our internal structure and then output as a ZIP file in the folder structure.

Ideally, it should be possible to create cover letters and specify various standard structures.

Optional additional requirements are that the data pool is extensive and consists of a large number of documents. Some of these have expiration dates, deadlines, and validity periods, all of which are different.

Both an on-premises and a cloud solution would be conceivable.

Two software workstations are planned. The work will be done with MS Windows systems.
