Image library

What is meant by Image library?

A "Bildbibliothek" is a collection of images organized and stored in software or a platform. These images can include photographs, graphics, illustrations, or other visual elements and serve to provide users with a central source for accessing and managing image assets. Bildbibliotheken are commonly used in various contexts such as graphic design software, content management systems, presentation programs, or online platforms.

Typical features of software in the "Bildbibliothek" area include:

  1. Import and organization of images: The software allows users to import images from various sources and organize them in the image library by sorting them into folders, albums, or categories.

  2. Search and filtering: There are tools for searching and filtering images based on keywords, metadata, or other criteria to quickly find specific images.

  3. Preview and suggestions: The ability to view images in the library in a preview and receive automatic suggestions for similar or relevant images.

  4. Metadata management: The software enables users to add and edit metadata such as title, description, tags, creation date, etc., to each image to facilitate organization and search.

  5. Editing and customization: There are basic image editing tools such as cropping, rotating, scaling, or color corrections to adjust images directly in the image library.

  6. Sharing and export: The ability to share or export images from the library, such as creating links, downloading files, or integrating with other applications or platforms.
