The Flownex 1D flow simulation software supports plant engineers and development engineers in determining pressure losses, mass flows and heat transfers for the connected elements of fluid and thermal engineering systems and plants. The software solution provides you with results for single-phase and multiphase flows, gaseous and liquid media, fluid or gas mixtures as well as sludgy and non-Newtonian media.

Flownex® SE supports planners and engineers in calculating simulation models for simple and complex pipework systems. The calculations include components such as heat exchangers, fans, valves, pumps, tanks and combustion chambers. The programme is able to create these calculations quickly and efficiently. The software supports you in optimising the design of the system components, control and regulation. The system behaviour and performance can be simulated and evaluated for different load cases, both stationary and dynamic. The software solution helps to quickly recognise weak points in the system. Flownex® SE is used in industry to successfully master system and process planning tasks. The strengths of the program lie in the modelling of turbomachinery (e.g. combustion chamber cooling, blade cooling). There are special components for modelling rotating components, swirl flow, combustion and heat transfer.
