Software sought for determining pressure losses in water-filled pipes

We are a North German manufacturing and trading company operating in the mechanical engineering sector, which is also involved in engineering. We develop, manufacture, and distribute high-end electrical engineering equipment and are represented internationally. We use simulation software to calculate air flows and perform modal analysis (resonance analysis). We are looking for technical software for pipeline calculation to determine pressure losses in water-filled pipelines.

The software should meet the following requirements:

• Various pipe cross-sections with reducers, pipe bends, check valves, etc. must be combined, and the total pressure loss must be determined in order to calculate the required pump capacity.
• The pipe cross-sections and fittings should be able to be sketched in an R&I flow diagram, and all elements sketched in this diagram should be stored in the background of the software with the corresponding data for flow calculation.
• An interface to the existing simulation software would be nice to have.

Two software workstations are planned. The work will be carried out on MS Windows systems.
