I am looking for technical infrastructure software (firefighting) for my engineering office.
Our task is as follows: We want to feed the test water with a test sprinkler (assumption K= 1.6) at a pressure (assumption 100 bar) = 16 l/min with a high-pressure hose into a dirty water connection. What hole diameter must the orifice plate have? At the end, we want to have a maximum pressure of, for example, 4 bar. We need the hole disc diameter and the pressure loss via the hose or via a fixed stainless steel pipe. We can determine the hose diameter and the friction coefficient. The calculations in the high-pressure range are performed using Darcy-Weisbach and in the low-pressure range using Hazen-Williams.
I have the following requirements for the software:
The k value can be used to determine the water rate of the sprinkler at specific pressures.
For high-pressure fog systems, the value is generally between 1.6 and 4.
A software workstation is planned, or two users are to work with the required software, but not at the same time. The system used is MS Windows.
