We are an engineering firm that provides services for (mostly public) clients. We support projects from planning to implementation, e.g., in structural engineering, transportation infrastructure construction, or the development of urban spaces and areas (recreational and green spaces, parking lots). We are looking for an integrated and powerful business solution to handle all our business processes and the complete management of our projects.

The software should cover all aspects in a single solution, including:

  • Financial accounting (comprehensive, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, annual financial statements, etc.)
  • Operating accounting
  • Payroll
  • Invoicing (multiple partial invoices up to the final invoice, X-invoices)
  • Project organization
  • Time tracking for employees
  • Vacation planning and management
  • DMS with workflow

The DMS should be linked to financial accounting and be able to perform automated document allocation, for example. Project staff should be able to check, change, and approve incoming invoices in the workflow.

In financial accounting and operational accounting, it should be possible to drill down to the (scanned) document. Time recording for employees should enable direct allocation of employees to projects in operational accounting. Financial accounting, operational accounting, and invoicing should be linked to project organization.

Individual employees should have different rights in the project organization. The project organization should make it possible to enter purchase orders with the amounts ordered. It must be possible to see the status of projects, which projects have already been invoiced to customers, which projects have already been finalized, and which purchase orders have not yet been completely invoiced.

Three software workstations are planned for financial accounting, 30 for time recording for employees, and 10 for checking and approving incoming invoices. MS Windows systems are used.
