What is meant by Cloud?

The term "Cloud" refers to the provision and use of IT resources such as servers, storage, databases, networks, software, and other IT services over the internet. Instead of installing and managing hardware and software locally, businesses and individuals access these resources over the internet, provided and managed by a cloud service provider.
