The Enterprise Content Management System can accommodate documents of different origin. These can be, for example, printed documents from other company applications, e.g. the ERP system, e-mails or a large amount of paper documents. All these documents have to be transferred into a long-term stable format and stored securely.

The core of the software is transaction processing. Transactions can be very lengthy. The acquisition of sales partners, product development, the establishment of a new branch, etc. are rather long-term processes.  Short-term processes include customer inquiries, a complaint or a delivery request, etc.. And of course, processes that have a medium duration, such as a quotation process, must also be taken into account.

Since there are still numerous business processes that are not or only insufficiently software-supported in the company, d.3ecm also includes the possibility to set up digital workflows.

With d.ecs flow you can model recurring processes as workflows. Third-party systems can be connected via certified interfaces.
