We are a state-owned company operating in several locations across a federal state. One of our locations requires new software to support the ordering process for laboratory operations. We work in various protection programs and projects and carry out measurements and analyses, among other things.

The software should meet the following requirements, among others:

  • Implementation of procurement and award documents with details of order and approval status and processor
  • Article maintenance
  • Supplier maintenance
  • Generation of orders with laboratory group subdivision
  • Order value limits with control function, depending on the competence of the person responsible (to be set up)
  • Posting of goods receipts
  • Implementation of cost centers, cost units
  • Budget management – option to adjust with distinction between investment and standard goods
  • Migratability from the previous system (Visual Basic 6/SQL Server)
  • Option to connect to a LIMS (based on Visual Basic 6)
  • with the option of expansion and multi-client capability

Initially, 23 software workstations are planned. The system will run on MS Windows.
