SpriCAD + Win Sprink - software for design and hydraulic calculation of sprinkler systems.

Variant 1: WinSprink program for calculation.

Simple data input in the form of tables with numerous helpful edit functions (e.g. copying). The pipeline systems for the calculation can be open or also meshed as desired. The input of data is supported by a so-called input tree. This help allows the simple input and, if necessary, modification of data as well as the navigation through the data in an extremely simple and comfortable way.

The WinSprink software solution outputs the following for each pipe section:

  • pipeline number, pipe diameter and length, and hydraulic length.
  • start and end node number
  • the total pressure loss and the pressure loss due to friction
  • the pressure at the beginning of the pipe section, at the end of the pipe as well as the water quantity incl. flow velocity in the pipe
  • for sprinklers the K-factor
  • the discharge rate at the sprinkler
  • internals (number of bends, elbows, tees...)
  • height difference

Calculations according to VdS, FM, NFPA etc. according to the Hazen-Williams formula. On request, extension of the calculation according to Darcy for foam lines. WinSprink maps the requirements according to the VdS guidelines. The calculation kernel has been tested by VdS and accepted without any objections. The calculations are accepted by FM and the other testing institutions.

Variant 2: Program SpriCAD for CAD design of the sprinkler pipe network as an additional program to AutoCAD or BricsCAD and Revit. Furthermore, a connection to the Microstation CAD system TriCAD is available.

Hydraulic calculation with WinSprink (see variant 1).

SpriCAD® offers features for hydraulic calculations of sprinkler systems. The solution supports the creation of site plans and parts lists. Among other things, you can use the software to prepare documents for prefabrication. The sprinkler positions are output automatically. SpriCAD also supports you in the preparation of isometric views for VdS testing.
