Orgasoft.NET Anywhere is the web-based extension to the Orgasoft.NET merchandise management system, bringing key business processes directly to the point where data is generated. Whether on the shop floor, in the warehouse, at goods receiving, in a branch or while travelling, users can access current product, stock, order, customer and supplier information directly through a web browser.
The web app can be used on smartphones, tablets, notebooks and desktop PCs, with the interface automatically adapting to different screen sizes. As no separate installation is required on each individual device, existing hardware can be used flexibly. Orgasoft.NET Anywhere supports operating systems such as Android, iOS, Windows and ChromeOS and can therefore also be used in BYOD environments.
A key advantage is the shared data foundation with Orgasoft.NET. The web app accesses the same central database, meaning that recorded goods receipts, stock changes, orders or product updates are immediately available in Orgasoft.NET as well. No additional synchronisation between the mobile application and the merchandise management system is required. Sales prices, EANs and multiple EANs for product variants, product groups as well as purchasing and sales statuses can be viewed and edited on mobile devices. Supporting documents such as PDF files and product-specific links can also be stored.
Goods receipts can be processed directly when a delivery arrives. Products that have already been ordered can be transferred from the underlying purchase order and supplemented where necessary. Variances and partial deliveries can be documented, while timestamps and user identification help ensure transparent and traceable processes.
For stock management, Orgasoft.NET Anywhere supports processes including stocktaking, stock transfers, internal returns and inventory adjustments. This means that breakages, shrinkage or, in food retail, spoiled goods can be recorded immediately where the stock change occurs.
For hospitality businesses and bakeries, Orgasoft.NET Anywhere also provides industry-specific capabilities. Nutritional values, allergens and additives for recipes and recipe variants can be maintained for dishes and baked goods, for example directly on a tablet in the kitchen or bakery.
Orgasoft.NET Anywhere enables selected processes from the central merchandise management system to be moved closer to day-to-day operations. Branch staff can check stock levels, record price changes or prepare orders, while warehouse teams can document goods movements directly where they occur. Field staff can access customer information, terms and order histories while on the move.
Individually defined access rights determine which user groups may only view information and which are authorised to make changes. Role-based dashboards can also be configured to show the most relevant information and indicators for each area of responsibility.
