We are looking for an industry solution (featuring hotel and event management functions) for our renowned travel company. Our team of four is looking for suitable, integrated software; i.e., industry-specific software for global travel events. Various hotels and accommodations are involved, and the software would mainly be used for event dates to ensure that no rooms remain empty. We want to be able to quickly get an overview of available rooms and then process the booking, i.e., calculate prices and exchange the name lists with the hotel, inn, or private provider.

The solution should therefore meet the following requirements:

  • Calendar function
    • Calendar view, display on the calendar
    • is central to occupancy planning, should serve as information for customer inquiries
    • should also be usable for travel planning
    • additional services must be bookable, e.g., airport transfers, ferry trips, flights, guides, etc.
  • Room occupancy and management (occupancy planning) for our various room contingents in hotels and accommodations
  • Overview of available rooms
  • Booking and calculating via the calendar
  • Data transfer to the back office system
  • Further processing into a travel offer
  • Customization options would be an advantage
  • Windows-compatible
  • Migration or transfer of master data (e.g., customer data) from the old system (tour operator software)

Together with an event manager, as described, it would probably be possible to create an entire travel package. It is important that customer data only has to be entered once and that, for example, ferry travel and other services can be booked in addition.

Three software workstations are planned.
