Industrial and commercial company (ceramics) seeks data management software (for materials)

We are a renowned industrial and commercial enterprise (ceramics) based in southern Germany with over 3,000 employees worldwide. We are looking for software to provide data on materials (ceramics) and their properties within the company.

The software should meet the following requirements:

• Input of data via appealing and customizable input masks - developers
• Reading of data – sales staff
• Generation of appealing documents, e.g., data sheets for materials (ceramics)
• Definition of different and personal rights (reading, reading a specific part of the data – sales staff, writing, ability to design input masks, possibly further rights subdivisions?)
• In addition to developers and sales staff, there are other employees whose rights must be defined on a case-by-case basis
• SAP interface would be an advantage
• Windows-compatible

More than 200 software workstations are planned. The exact number is not yet known.
