We act as a supplier for various sectors and industries, e.g., mechanical engineering, automotive, and medical technology, and are looking for calculation software for our commercial and production-related needs. Calculations are made in machining technology, e.g., in the metalworking of titanium, aluminum, or steel. It should be possible to calculate or estimate the manufacturing costs of technical components (e.g., machine costs, hourly rates).

The solution should meet the following requirements:

  • Geometry analysis of STP files
  • Output of the calculated processing time for manufactured parts (no assemblies)
  • Consideration of the following techniques: milling, turning, grinding, wire EDM, sawing
  • In Dutch and/or German, English
  • A standalone program would be nice
  • Windows compatible
  • Good support from the software provider, e.g., long-term maintenance

Approximately three software workstations are planned.
