As a plant engineering company (pipeline construction, metal fabrication, machine assembly and disassembly), we serve our industrial clients and are looking for piping design and calculation software. For example, we install wastewater pipes or pipes used for the supply or discharge of chemical media.
For example, if I enter the dimensions of a plastic pipe and the number of fittings, the software should calculate the installation time, including welding times. This information is used to prepare quotes. We currently have an Excel tool that calculates these values for steel pipes or stainless steel installations and welding times. I enter the hourly rate, the number of pipes or fittings (including wall thickness), and the material price, and it calculates the material surcharge and the total installation time for me. I now need this primarily for plastic pipes.
The software should meet the following requirements, among others:
One software workstation is planned. The system will run on an MS Windows operating system.
