LABbase® is a laboratory information management system that can be customised to meet the needs of every customer. Based on the blomesystem® Designer and blomesystem® Report Generator tools, it offers all the functionalities needed to professionally handle and efficiently organise everyday tasks and processes in the laboratory environment. By taking customer feedback and the experience of service and support staff into account, GUS LAB GmbH's products are constantly being improved and developed in a practical way.

The user interface and master data in the application can currently be translated into German, French and English. The translation module ensures, for example, the translation of mask and block titles and field labelling. Reports can be output in a different language regardless of the language set for the user interface.

LABbase® maps the entire workflow of a laboratory and includes far more functions than just the ability to process and analyse samples. The modular structure of the software allows users to cater for individual customer requirements. In addition to general analysis modules, the laboratory software offers additional modules for special application areas such as human medicine, veterinary medicine, food or radioactivity as well as a module for processing control samples from the production area. Of course, commercial modules for preparing quotations and invoicing are also available.

The blomesystem® Web feature can be used to enable the LIMS to be used on mobile devices. With the blomesystem® report generator, the trained user can create additional input forms, reports and statistics. Changes to the source code of the application or the database design are not necessary. The blomesystem® Designer enables all conceivable modifications and extensions to the range of functions and the database. It can be reliably updated and used to further develop your own application.
