We are a university in southern Germany and are looking for document management software (DMS) for our research and development department.

The software should meet the following requirements:

  • Structured storage and retrieval of documents
  • Automatic creation of literature lists
  • Storage of at least 10,000 documents
  • Search function based on predefined metadata
  • Individual favorites storage
  • forwarding from one document to another via links/connections
  • note, comment, and marking function
  • cross-device access
  • OCR text recognition
  • support for mobile devices (iOS, Android)

Approximately 15 software workstations are planned. Both Windows and Mac systems will be used.
