Service company seeks remote meter-reading software for heat and water meters

I am a self-employed service provider in the fields of financial consulting, property management, and real estate, and I am looking for remote meter-reading software for heat and water meters for my building (3 residential units) in southern Germany. As the property owner, I live in the building myself, and there are two tenants. Based on Section 6 of the German Heating Costs Ordinance, I am subject to the obligation to distribute costs based on consumption for the supply of heat and hot water as of January 1, 2027.

The software I am looking for should meet the following requirements:

• Remote reading for consumption and operating cost billing for heat (gas)
• Remote reading for consumption and operating cost billing for hot water
• User-friendly
• Local installation preferred; a cloud version would also be considered if necessary

One software workstation is planned. The system used is MS Windows 11.
