We are a medium-sized manufacturing and service company (toolmaking). For our tool sales, we need a media-neutral database for creating electronic catalogs.
Images and PDF files should be easy to manage, assigned to products, and converted into various formats. Products should be organized in a tree structure from which they can be easily selected and transferred to various electronic catalogs.
Long texts should be formatted using a WYSIWYG editor if possible.
We use well-known software for electronic catalogs that works with our product information management (PIM) system. Ideally, we would only replace the PIM software.
A connection to an ERP system is not planned.
A provider in our region would be ideal, but is not essential.
Two workstations are planned.

According to the manufacturer, the software used to create electronic catalogs can be used with any database or PIM. In the simplest case, .csv files are all that is required.
