We are a law firm and are looking for software to offer contract management to our clients. Our idea is to archive our clients' contracts. The various clients (from very different industries, e.g., doctors, manufacturing, construction, industry, service providers, trade) should have access to their respective contracts. They should also be able to distinguish which employee has access to which contracts (e.g., the HR manager has access to all employment contracts, but the accounting employee does not).
It must be ensured that clients only have access to their own contracts and not to the contracts of other companies. Different versions of contracts must be traceable (when was the contract changed and by whom?).
Furthermore, there must be a kind of “resubmission” or “task” function. The rights to change this function (e.g., mark a task as completed) must be restrictable so that not everyone can mark a task as completed.
Ideally, the whole thing should have a kind of “interface” to our legal system (DATEV), because we archive our documents there so that everything is “together.”
We do not yet know how many customers this will be relevant for. This will certainly depend on the cost of the software, which the customer would then also have to install, and the extent to which it is compatible with the customer's programs.
