We are an IT system house based in southern Germany and are looking for software to create IT documentation.

*****

The aim is to offer all employees a quick and easy way to get an overview of a customer's IT structure. This applies in particular to customers with whom we have not had much contact. The software should therefore be able to respond to support requests more quickly and resolve them.

Another point is to ensure the uncomplicated creation of customer documentation, which must always be up-to-date and complete! In addition, the software should also optimize commercial processes. For example, when creating a modernization offer, all components of the customer's network are examined, which can sometimes take a lot of time. In this process, a system can easily be forgotten because it is not clearly visible.

It should also be possible for technicians to access the system externally. Most “on-site” appointments result in changes that should be documented immediately in the future.

The newly established system should be able to communicate with our ERP system, monitoring system, and ticket system via an interface.

One restriction that must not be forgotten is that the software must not be a SaaS application. Highly sensitive customer data must be stored locally!

The solution should be implemented in an existing virtualization environment.

*****

Approximately 10 software workstations are planned. Work will be carried out in an MS Windows system landscape.

Based on the specific requirements, the following solutions can be considered:

EcholoN Service Management Suite
DHC VISION
Projektron BCS - Web-based project management software
