IT company seeks document management system (DMS)

We are a software developer based in southern Germany and are looking for a document management system (DMS).

The software should meet the following requirements:

• Management of identification and configuration of our products, i.e. create, change, and baseline* number ranges and parts lists
• Numbering scheme (document ID) should be flexibly configurable
• Documentation of our deliveries (as-built documentation)
• Change management (change requests for configured products, status tracking of changes, release of changed products)
• Versioning
• Keyword indexing
• Bill of materials management
• Audit-proof long-term archiving of documents (products) and bills of materials
• User rights, rights management (e.g., who is allowed to version, who is not, approval, etc.)
• Suitable for QMS according to ISO 9001, IATF, ISO 9100
• Should run locally, on-premises

*Baseline - an agreed description of the attributes of a product at a specific point in time, which serves as the basis for defining changes

Approximately 20 software workstations are planned. Work will be done on MS Windows systems, but the database should run on a Linux server.
