Freight forwarder seeks software for warehouse logistics

We are a freight forwarding company and are looking for warehouse logistics software. The aim is to introduce a modern, efficient, and user-friendly software solution to optimize our warehouse processes. We have eight vehicles (vans and cars). We do not have our own truck fleet. We operate several block warehouses with a total storage area of approximately 6,500 square meters. Please submit your offer by December 19, 2025.

The software we are looking for should meet the following requirements:

Scope of services

• Management of incoming and outgoing goods
• Real-time inventory recording and management
• Batch and serial number management
• Documentation of warehouse processes and traceability
• Support for storage strategies (e.g., FIFO, LIFO)
• Order picking and shipping processing
• Reporting and analysis functions

Functional requirements

• Integration with existing ERP/merchandise management systems
• Support for mobile devices for warehouse workers (e.g., hand scanners, tablets)
• User and rights management
• Automation of warehouse processes (e.g., automatic stock transfers)
• Interfaces to shipping service providers and suppliers

Technical requirements

• Scalability and expandability
• Data security and backup concept
• Multilingualism (at least German and English)

Support and service

• Training and familiarization of employees
• Technical support and maintenance
• Regular updates and further developments

Legal and contractual conditions

• Compliance with data protection guidelines (GDPR)
• Licensing models and cost structure
• Contract term and termination conditions

Three to four software workstations are planned. MS Windows systems will be used.
