We are looking for software for our company (public institution) to support our new innovation management system.
The software should enable open dialogue about the suggestions submitted. This includes:
- Liking and commenting on ideas
- View for users showing all submitted and published ideas
- Current status of the idea (for evaluation, implementation planned, implemented, etc.)
- Display of the top idea of the month (annual)
The ideas are evaluated by experts and a decision is then made on how to proceed. The software should also enable the following:
- Ideas can be sent to an employee (expert) via a workflow, who then processes the idea and sends it back with an evaluation
- Resubmissions or deadlines can be created via the software (regular processing time, e.g., 14 days, followed by review)
- A controlling/reporting function is also desirable (number of suggestions submitted, implementation rate, etc.)
- Our innovation management distinguishes between ideas and innovations, so it would be good to have this distinction reflected in the software (e.g., using colors or similar).
- Comprehensive rights management is also desired (admin, submitter (sales employee, controlling, organization, etc.). This is to ensure that each user only sees the ideas that are relevant to them. (Alternatively, a subscription function would be conceivable, whereby an employee must select the subject areas from which they want to see ideas.)
- There should also be a submission workflow in which the admin can decide which subject area the idea relates to and whether the idea should be published.
- We also need an award workflow where payments can be initiated and an implementation check to track the current implementation status of the idea.
All employees of our company should have access to the innovation software (approx. 1000).
