Developer and manufacturer of technical devices and systems seeks CAD software (2D/3D)

We are a medium-sized company (in the field of mechanical and plant engineering) based in the new federal states and are looking for CAD software (2D/3D) for designing and editing company-specific components, assemblies, and drawing derivatives.

We have the following requirements that must be met:

• Detailed representation of small components through to large systems
• Design of sheet metal developments and sheet metal components
• Calculations such as load capacity and bending moment should also be possible
• Creation of 3D models
• Logical assembly of components by assigning dependencies
• Creation of drawing derivatives of the 3D models
• Processing of various file formats from other suppliers such as *.dxf, *.dwg, *.stp, and *.iges
• Integration of existing projects into the new software
• Access to a software-integrated standard parts library and integration of company-specific components into this
• It should be possible to access all profile shapes in the metal sector
• No subscription model, only permanent license
• No annual maintenance fee
• User support should be provided from our region (within a 50 km radius) if possible
• Optional – what costs will the company incur for transferring existing files from CAD software to the new software? (approx. 30 GB)
• Supported operating system: MS Windows 7 and 10 64-bit
