We are a consulting company (planning office) based in northern Germany and are looking for factory simulation software (digital factory). We work on both greenfield and brownfield projects. Together with our customers, we plan new factories or develop optimization potential for existing factories and/or production facilities.
We have the following requirements for the software we are looking for:
We already use factory planning software. However, this software can “only” be used to recreate the factory in 3D and perform simple material flow analysis.
The plan with the new software would be to create a visual representation of the factory and improve material flow analysis, but also to be able to evaluate throughput times or machine inventories, for example.
Furthermore, the new software should be able to create scenarios showing how key figures would change if, for example, an additional machine were to be purchased.
In addition, it must be possible to map people, a large model library should be available, the software should be suitable for both small-batch and mass production, and the provider should offer support in “learning” the software.
Both an on-premises and a cloud solution would be considered.
Two to three software workstations are planned. The company works with MS Windows systems.
