Regular audits at fixed intervals by defined hierarchical levels ("layers") were first introduced by Daimler Chrysler in 2000 and have since become a recognized tool for the consistent implementation of process standards. In essence, managers from various hierarchical levels (layers) conduct audits using simple checklists to verify compliance with specifications and rules.
The LPA method offers numerous proven advantages. The sole drawback is evident: it demands time and employee qualifications, both crucial factors today.
