Heylog is a cloud-based platform for yard management, digital driver registration, and driver communication. The software is designed for shippers, manufacturing plants, and logistics centers that want to centrally manage truck arrivals, time slots, gate processes, and loading docks. Drivers do not need a separate app for this. Check-in and communication take place via QR code, text message, WhatsApp, or a web link on their smartphone. This allows the exchange of information to begin even before arrival, rather than having to wait until the driver reaches the gate.
In the central dashboard, you can view scheduled, ongoing, and completed deliveries, including status, arrival, and departure times. Delays and updates are directly assigned to the respective order. For locations with time-slot scheduling, Heylog can complement existing slot systems or handle the booking process itself. If the expected arrival time changes, workflows and sequences can be dynamically adjusted. This provides dispatch, the gate, and goods receiving with a shared view of current yard operations.
A key focus of Heylog is the direct involvement of the driver. Instructions, inquiries, documents, and status updates reach the driver through channels accessible on their existing smartphone. Automatic translation supports more than 24 languages. This is particularly helpful at locations where many freight forwarders, subcontractors, and international drivers converge. Site maps, loading docks, gates, waiting areas, and directions can be integrated to aid navigation on the plant grounds.
Heylog is a web-based, cloud-delivered solution and can be implemented without a local driver app or additional hardware. Open interfaces and CSV imports are available for connecting to existing systems. This allows the platform to integrate with TMS, WMS, and ERP solutions, as well as with SAP processes. It is also possible to get started without interfaces if you initially plan to work with existing order or job references.
Data processing takes place on EU servers, and communication is encrypted. If you’d like to see how Heylog can handle your driver registration, slot booking, ramp control, or safety training, you can simulate your own yard process in a product demo and coordinate the appropriate implementation with the provider.
