EPLAN Fluid is the engineering tool designed precisely for the project planning and automated documentation of circuits of fluid power systems. It takes into account all four sub-areas of fluid engineering: hydraulics, pneumatics, cooling and lubrication. The software solution follows an interdisciplinary approach. Thanks to the direct connection to the EPLAN platform, you can also implement tasks from other engineering disciplines in parallel. You receive planning and manufacturing documents from a single source. Fluid plan creation is intuitive with the help of the software solution and the software offers much more than just drawing a fluid plan.
A large number of machines are equipped with hydraulic chucks or also with hydrostatic bearings. Compressed air is required, for example, for the operation of pneumatic axes or for blowing off chips and as sealing air in measuring systems. Since almost all of these functions are controlled electrically, it goes without saying that the combination of electrical and fluid engineering makes sense. In plans, the standard designations of pneumatics and hydraulics can then be stored together with the electrical code letters. The cross-references are transparent in both directions.
