Wholesaler in the electrical engineering sector is looking for a plug-in, add-in, extension, or IT service for its ERP system

We are a wholesale distributor of electrical engineering products based in northern Germany. We supply spare parts to industries worldwide, but primarily to the shipping industry (commercial vessels). Last year, we generated approximately 50,000 quotes and approximately 15,000 orders. Our customers are mainly shipping companies. We create quotations and orders using MS Dynamics Navision and then send them to specific webpages of specialized software service providers (e.g., ShipServ or SeaProc) in order to finalize the quotations and orders. The shipping companies always use these webpages. This is currently a laborious process for us because it is manual and time-consuming.

This means:

Using copy and paste, a table field in our MS Dynamics Navision is selected with a mouse click (copy) and then the corresponding field in the web page is selected manually, followed by paste. Then we start again from the beginning. This means that a table field in MS Dynamics Navision is selected with a mouse click (copy) and then the corresponding field in the web page is manually targeted – and then pasted.

In the future, we want to be able to do this semi-automatically, but ideally automatically. Ideally, after copying, the system should jump to the next corresponding table field and the field in the web page where the paste is to take place is already selected, so that all you have to do is execute the paste command. This means that there should be as little mouse navigation as possible.

We are therefore looking for an extension, plug-in, or add-in for the ERP system we use, or an IT service that provides this functionality.

The software or IT service should meet the following requirements:

• Copy and paste with a single mouse click and jump the cursor to the next field in the same column in MS Dynamics Navision
• This means copying table fields from Microsoft Dynamics Navision as quickly and easily as possible to different web pages whose structure is variable.
• German and English

There are 10-12 software workstations planned. We work with MS Windows systems.
