We are looking for a new ERP system as a service provider for welded assemblies and mechanical processing. Our existing software is outdated and does not cover the area of manufacturing. We are a custom manufacturer in the plant, machine, and tool manufacturing industries. We manufacture “drawing parts” and receive drawings for components of various types and qualities. As a rule, we get what others cannot or do not want to do, i.e., bulky, large, heavy, precise, urgent, repairs, or wear parts. We do not offer our own products. Batch sizes range from 1 or 2 to, in rare cases, 20. We use a wide variety of materials, including structural steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metals. These are processed using milling and turning machines, welding workstations, and other equipment. We complete around 300 projects per year.
We are looking for a fast solution for our production of complex individual parts, preferably based on Excel/DOS/WIN logic, which can be operated via keyboard as far as possible in the modules with a high data acquisition rate (input of numbers or text, TAB, Enter, Escape, Pos1, End, Page Up/Down, arrow keys, function keys).
The ERP system we are looking for should be tailored to our needs, preferably in a modular design. Only a lean solution is required.
