We are looking for a tool or method for our start-up company to calculate the costs of a product very early on in the product development process. The aim is to estimate the costs at a time when little information about the product is known.
A small mechatronic product, a small computer, is to be calculated. Since the computer is to be manufactured first, it would also be important to include various manufacturing processes in the calculation or estimate. In particular, the estimation of the total life cycle costs should also be included.
In addition, the tool should be clear, easy to use and in the lower price segment.
