Sheep farm seeks invoicing software or DMS

We run a sheep farm in northern Germany. Our income comes mainly from landscape conservation. Last year, we issued just under 40 invoices. Nevertheless, our tax advisor pointed out that in future we would have to do this either with an invoicing program or with a document management system (DMS) which is compliant with a specific administrative regulation from the German Federal Ministry of Finance.

The software must meet the following requirements:

• Digitize incoming invoices
• Digitize outgoing invoices from MS Office
• Archive
• Simple solution, as it only involves a manageable number of documents (incoming: <100, outgoing: <50)
• Easy to use (even for accounting novices)
• Compliant with a specific administrative regulation from the German Federal Ministry of Finance ("GoBD"-compliant)
• Affordable
• Local or web-based

One software workstation is planned. Work will be carried out using an MS Windows system.
