We are looking for software for personnel deployment and room planning for our research institute.

Various employees are to carry out practical measures or offers (in the lab, outdoors, or online) with clients. For this purpose, there are defined working time accounts and limited spatial resources in the lab. Additional student employees are to be added to carry out the offers. Events are to be held daily.

Only the planning of assignments in offers to third parties (e.g., activities, training, courses, participation projects, Mint Actions, etc.) with reference to rooms (currently, for example, Lab1, Lab2, etc.) will be displayed in terms of people, times, and rooms. Since some employees are involved in several projects, this should also be traceable. It should be possible to further differentiate for each employee with the question of in which projects he/she worked, when, how much, and where.

The software should meet the following requirements:

  • Manage a pool of up to 30 teachers and approximately 5 locations
  • Take into account
    • Event times
    • Working time volumes
    • Working time recording
    • Availability planning
  • Project management as an extension option would be nice

Five software workstations are required.

Based on the specific requirements, the following solutions can be considered:

TimO® – The modular Project-ERP Suite for projects, time tracking, and billing
Projektron BCS - Web-based project management software
