A public administration in northern Germany is looking for software for lending and storage. We currently hold and lend out approximately 25 IT hardware items (e.g., notebooks, projectors, routers, etc.) with a total of approximately 100 units. These are stored in two warehouses. Bookings for individual loan devices should be made via the intranet. This means that the software we are looking for is for internal use only; there are no “real customers” in this sense.

The software should meet the following requirements:

Required:

  • Customer management
  • Maintenance
  • Online booking functions, web-based bookings for individual loan devices, intranet
  • Order tracking

  • Inventory management
  • Inventory control
  • Inventory monitoring
  • Rental periods

  • Storage location allocation
  • Goods receipt
  • Goods issue
  • Issue only with digital signature
  • Push messages
  • Availability display
  • Graphical scheduling
  • Reservation management
  • Hardware management
  • Several people should be able to work with it at the same time.
  • On premises

Optional:

  • Inventory
  • Item properties
  • Serial number management
  • Barcode scanner
  • Web info system
  • Multi-warehouse capability

Two to three software workstations are planned. Work will be carried out in an MS Windows system landscape.
