We are a metal construction company and metal trader with various processing options such as sawing, drilling, grinding, etc. To optimize our daily tasks, we are looking for a merchandise management or ERP system that also corresponds to the issues arising from a web shop. The web shop generates short lengths from manufacturer lengths, which are currently posted manually.
This results in the following situations in the merchandise management system:
Materials are purchased by the kilo, processing is done in various ways, depending on the profile, e.g., by €/sqm or per meter, and sales are made by the meter. There is a more detailed description of the requirements for flat steel and round steel.
