Manufacturing and trading company (approx. 2,000 employees) is looking for costing software

We are a manufacturing and trading company in the automotive industry and are looking for costing software to speed up the process of preparing quotes for the stamped parts we manufacture. We currently receive customer inquiries regarding the production of specific products. However, we have relatively little information about the products to be ordered (no information on material or labor costs). We only have a drawing. Furthermore, new inquiries are constantly coming in, making it difficult to rely on historical data. Until now, we have had to contact various suppliers to ask whether they can supply these small parts and at what price. Only then can a complete quote be sent to the customer.

The following requirements must be met:

• Calculate the cost of externally sourced small parts in advance, such as plastic, rubber, cast, sheet metal, or turned parts (specific screws, closure caps)
• A large database in which data such as labor costs, material costs, raw material prices, etc., are stored
• No specific database required
• Supplier management
• Runs in a Windows environment
• The option to integrate with SAP (though not mandatory)
• German; English language support would be an advantage

This involves 2–4 software workstations.
