International industrial company seeks uniform CMMS or IPS system for 20 plants

We are an international industrial company that develops, produces, and supplies metal parts for the automotive industry, among other things. We are looking for a uniform computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or maintenance planning and control system (IPS), initially for our plants in Europe and Asia (20 plants). The system could also be rolled out in other plants at a later date.

Our goal is to use the standardized IPS system to plan and control maintenance in individual plants and across plants, achieve synergy effects, analyze errors, and make this knowledge available to other plants.

Requirements:

• Management, planning, and documentation of maintenance orders
• Strategic maintenance planning, possibly support for a continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Management of maintenance and inspection plans
• Maintenance projects, project management
• Support for various machines for metal forming, joining, and coating, such as hydraulic and mechanical presses (up to 2,000 t), welding machines, KTL coatings
• Asset management - device data, device documentation, checklists, inspection intervals, spare parts lists or parts lists, service contracts, etc.
• Management and organization of spare parts, tools, aids, and consumables (warehouse management), spare parts management
• Must be able to be used across 20 plants (Europe and Asia), possibly multi-client capable
• Multilingual - English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, etc. - ideally also Chinese
• Important - interface to SAP

We are looking for a software provider who also supports rollout and project planning and provides consulting and training.

The existing software and hardware varies from plant to plant. Over 50 software workstations are planned: 2-3 users (plant managers) per plant with write or full access and possibly read access for other employees in production or maintenance are required.
