We are a global industrial company (paints/chemicals) and are looking for idea management software to continuously improve our operational processes.

Every employee worldwide should be able to submit ideas via mobile devices. These ideas should be recorded in a central database, evaluated by the relevant managers, and assigned a status. This status should be visible to employees via a dashboard or app.

Requirements:

  • Mainly entering ideas and suggestions for improvement via smartphone, tablet, interactive monitor, laptop, or desktop
  • Visual tool to manage ideas from the conception phase to the implementation phase and to inform employees at all levels of the organization about daily improvements in production (including offices, workshops, warehouses, and laboratories)
  • Idea evaluation
  • Evaluation and reward of employee ideas and suggestions
  • Fast processing of ideas and timely feedback (quick feedback)
  • Access to existing and processed ideas or collection, consolidation of developments and knowledge distribution
  • Statistics and data-based decision support functions
  • Reporting and reports
  • Interfaces to other applications such as learning systems
  • Multimedia support (images, videos)
  • Web-based
  • Multilingual: English, German
  • User-friendly

A SharePoint network is available. A pilot phase is planned for the third quarter of 2017 in Switzerland. This will then be expanded to Europe, Asia, and America for approximately 5,000 users.
