Electrical engineering company seeks software for production planning

We are a small industrial company in southern Germany specializing in electrical engineering and are looking for production planning software in the technology segment. Among other things, we are involved in the development and production of radio and communications technology devices and equipment. The solution will be used in two specialist departments.

The software should meet the following requirements:

• Planning and prioritization of tasks
• Display of the utilization of the specialist department
• Forecast of the performance of the specialist department
• Büro+ is used in merchandise management and is currently being further developed - a link should be established sooner or later
• Production can only be planned once all components are in-house – possibly forecasting when which components will be in-house
• It is important to map series production with a high degree of standardization, as well as project-related production and the associated necessary flexibility

The challenge certainly lies in the wide range of project-related production and response times, from a few days to series production with response times of several weeks. Work is carried out in an MS Windows system environment.

Approximately 30 software workstations are planned, with an upward trend.
