We are a newly founded company specializing in the organization of road transport services (full truck load, less than truckload, and groupage) and are currently in the process of selecting a suitable transport management system (TMS). We work with subcontracted freight companies and do not have our own fleet of vehicles.
Our most important requirement is that the system represents the best purchase option and supports the entire order-to-cash cycle, including:
As we are still in the start-up phase and do not yet have a dedicated IT infrastructure (e.g., central server), we are particularly interested in a cloud-based (SaaS) solution—however, we are also open to other deployment models if they offer clear advantages. We would also appreciate information on pricing and licensing options, especially for solutions that are cost-effective for small teams.
Customization:
To what extent can the system be adapted to specific local requirements? We are thinking of aspects such as customizable invoice templates and compliance with different VAT regulations within the EU.
Language:
Is the software available in English or other languages? If not, to what extent is translation possible, for which we would be willing to cover the costs?
Initially, we need a single-user license, with a planned expansion to about three users within the next six months.
