We are a renowned, internationally active consulting company and are looking for a modern, forward-looking solution for asset and maintenance management for one of our clients.

Our client is a medium-sized company with approximately 200 employees in the construction-related sector (construction planning, construction execution, maintenance of technical facilities) and manages technical facilities for third parties. Approximately 20 of its own employees in teams and external subcontractors are involved in the technical management of the inventory, maintenance management, and scheduling of employees to carry out orders (maintenance, repairs, small orders). SAP is the established ERP system and is also used for materials management.

The software should roughly cover the following areas:

  • Management of technical facilities, e.g., heating systems or lighting (in the sense of a CMDB in IT service management), including geo-data/GIS functionality (as a separate solution, if necessary)
  • Read access from mobile devices, including the recording of updates with mobile devices for the technical facility inventory, if necessary
  • Energy demand management of the managed technical assets
  • Maintenance management (maintenance and inspection planning)
  • Ticket system/service desk for repair orders (own and third-party)
  • Resource planning (personnel planning, material planning, vehicle planning) - Field service management/mobile workforce management
  • Warranty management
  • Lockout/tagout for hazardous or critical systems
  • Feedback to the ticketing system for order billing and to the inventory management of technical assets after completion of an order
  • Mobile usage scenarios are supported (orders, acknowledgment of orders, viewing and processing of checklists)
  • Service level management & reporting (evaluation of assignments)
  • Cockpit & reporting
  • Interfaces to SAP (merchandise management system and financial accounting), GIS interfaces
  • Rights and roles concept
  • Web-based or SaaS possible

A separation into a system for managing the technical equipment inventory, including maintenance planning, and a workflow/ticketing system for performing service management is conceivable.

Four to six central software workstations and additional workstations with read access on mobile devices are planned.
