Viewing and Editing Software

In this section you will find an overview of viewers and editors. Viewers are file viewers or image viewers that allow to display data or images in special formats on the computer even if the creation software is not installed on the computer. With a viewer, the user has read-only access to the files. With an editor, one also has write access, which is why it is possible to modify the original file. The viewers and editors listed here usually include standard formats such as PDF, BMP, EPS, GIF, JPG, PS and TIF but also plot files (HGL, HPG, PLT etc.).
