Adaptive Controller SRM - a particularly powerful solution for production, purchasing and scheduling

The adaptive controller SRM is used to set up logistic control loops. If production processes change only very slowly, if they are not linear or if even the smallest changes lead to strong deviations, a very precise control of these production processes is necessary. The ERP controller SRM provides the schedulers with a tool to implement the company's goals in a complex and dynamic environment (e.g. low capital commitment or short delivery times to customers). Particularly high efficiency is achieved with a large variety of articles and variant production.

The ERP controller SRM makes it possible to demonstrate the existing benefit potential on the basis of concrete data from the ERP or merchandise management system. Selected master and transaction data from the ERP are subjected to a tool-based analysis. The results support the necessity of using the ERP-Regler SRM solution.

Even with a smaller number of articles, the adaptation of logistics parameters means a considerable administrative effort. What was previously only possible manually can be automated by the Adaptive Controller SRM. The data from the ERP system is automatically compared with the target key figures of the operation. If deviations occur, the controller changes parameters in the ERP software and ensures that the set targets are met. There is no change in the ERP, the planning and data sovereignty of your ERP system remains.

Procurement and distribution logistics with ABC and XYZ - analysis

The ABC analysis evaluates the decisions of a company, such as components of a bill of materials, in terms of turnover. Whereby the A-materials, which are of the highest importance, have a low quantity but a high value share of turnover, the B-materials have a medium share and the C-materials have a high quantity but only a low value share.

The XYZ analysis is an extension of the ABC analysis and is a materials management procedure in which goods or stocks are classified according to consumption.

The ERP controller SRM software supports the classification of all articles automatically with a combined ABC-XYZ analysis. Whereby the limit values for the separate classes can be determined individually. In this way, company-specific conditions are taken into account. Web-based graphics clearly illustrate the classification of all articles under different points of view. The software supports the disposition procedure with a combination of ABC and XYZ analysis.
