Wood construction company seeks complete solution

We are a timber construction company based in southern Germany and are looking for a complete solution. The software we currently use is unable to map some processes. In particular, we need a better solution for quotation calculation and document storage. Furthermore, there is no project management across all projects.

The new solution should, among other things, speed up internal processes and make them more transparent for everyone. Communication with customers should be project-related, clearly organized, and accessible to everyone. All employees should have an overview of the status of current projects. Customers should receive consistent information about the project status and timeline.

The software should meet the following requirements:

• Authorization concept (all prices should only be visible to sales, purchasing, accounting, and management)
• Quotation creation (quotations should only be visible and editable by sales, purchasing, accounting, and management)

• Connection to telephone system (call display, contact details) - ODBC interface

• Remote maintenance and updates by the manufacturer must be possible at any time throughout the system's service life.

Easy to integrate into workflows. Every employee must be able to use this system. Our employees should be given sufficient time to familiarize themselves with a new system through training and a sufficiently long test phase.

Our acceptance criteria are trouble-free operation over a period of time to be determined, all ongoing and completed projects are accessible, and compliance with the key points of functionality and central project storage.

Approximately 25 software workstations are planned for our office. Work is carried out in an MS Windows system landscape. An on-premises (in-house) solution is desired.
