Our young transportation company (transportation, logistics, assembly) provides customer service for a large furniture retailer. To support our daily order entry and transportation planning, we are looking for a transportation planning system with warehouse management capabilities. After making a purchase, the end customer enters into a delivery contract directly with us.
The software should meet the following requirements:
- Recording of delivery and assembly orders for new furniture deliveries in retail directly from the customer - approx. 100 to 120 orders per day
- Recording customer requests, e.g., furniture assembly, disposal of existing or old furniture
- Scheduling (for immediate delivery requests, the delivery is made directly from the furniture store; for later delivery requests, the goods are temporarily stored in an off-site warehouse, in which case a storage location must be assigned)
- Warehouse management
- Recording and route planning with route optimization – approx. 70 customers per day
- Printing the delivery note, which also serves as the invoice
- Specifying payment options: Invoices can be paid directly at the counter or upon delivery on-site, as desired.
- Interfaces to Centiro and DATEV
- Optional IT consulting available - also regarding the interface
- On-premise or web-based solution possible
Approximately 10 to 15 software workstations are planned: initially two workstations at the counter in the furniture store, five workstations in the office for accounting, and two workstations in the warehouse.
