Trading and manufacturing company (metal and frame construction) seeks software for managing incoming orders

For our trading and manufacturing company in the field of metal and frame construction, we are looking for software for the chronological management of incoming orders, their assignment to processors, status, and outstanding amounts during processing.

The software should meet the following requirements:

• Chronological management of incoming orders
• Assignment to processors
• Display outstanding inquiries and orders with
• date of receipt
• value and status
• assigned processor, if applicable
• outstanding total of requests and orders that have not yet been processed
• reporting function

Optional:

• Option to enter a reminder date for all new requests and orders
• with a reminder function (perhaps by email) to the processor (salesperson)
• If possible, assignment of orders or inquiries for processing to specific employees with notification function
• Calculation of the time span between initial entry (receipt) and AB date
• Option for parallel processing by multiple employees (workflow)
• Option to call up each process number with the respective processing status
• Network-compatible

A simple, cost-effective solution is desired for monitoring incoming inquiries and orders so that nothing is lost and outstanding order totals can be kept track of. Order calculation and processing is carried out in ABAS (interface not absolutely necessary). There is a 15-year-old MS Access in-house development - an "order book" - in conjunction with MS Excel, which can also be easily converted to an independent, executable basis.

Five software workstations are planned.
