We are looking for software to record working hours and project working hours for our technical consulting firm.
We currently use Excel, but it takes a lot of effort every year to create the spreadsheet for the next year. We work Monday through Friday.
We also have different projects and therefore different billing contracts. We would therefore like to be able to calculate hourly and daily rates. For example, if more than 8 hours are worked on a given day in the second project, only 8 hours are billed. We would like to be able to add these and other formula options.
Otherwise, we sort our hours by calendar week and month. Some calendar weeks are therefore listed twice if a calendar week spans two months. For example, calendar week 5 is in January and February, so calendar week 5 is displayed in both February and January.
Eight software workstations are planned.
